By order for service by publication, dated the 27th day of March, 2026, you are hereby notified that on the 22nd day of December, 2025, Shane Frailey, Tax Commissioner of Troup County, Georgia, filed a Complaint for Interpleader naming you as defendant/interested party in the interpleader of $68,481.10 into the Registry of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Troup County, Georgia, said sum being excess funds from a tax sale conducted on June 7, 2022 of the certain property known as:
All that tract or parcel of land, together with all buildings and improvement located thereon, situated, lying and being in Land Lot No. 129 of the 11th Land District of Troup County, Georgia, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point marked by an iron pin on the West side of Mountville Road 373.5 feet South, as measured along the West side of Mountville Road, from the intersection of the West side of Mountville Road and the North line of Land Lot 129; thence West along a line; thence West along a line forming an interior angle of 89 Degrees and 35 minutes with the West side of Mountville Road, 275 feet to an iron pin; thence South along a line forming an interior angle of 90 Degrees and 25 minutes with the last described course, 108.5 feet to an iron pin; thence East along a line forming an interior angle of 89 Degrees and 35 minutes with the last described course, a distance of 275 feet to an iron pin located on the West side of Mountville road; thence North along the West side of Mountville road a distance of 108.5 feet to the point of beginning. Said property known as 4585 Mountville Road, Hogansville, Georgia according to present method of numbering houses. The above-described property is more particularly shown as lot No. 1 on a plat of property of O.F. Kerr made by Raymond C. Bartow, description by reference thereof.
